Over the past 35 years, Scott C. Keller has developed and refined his unique approach to real estate investing. He started in purchasing and operating single family rentals. Scott then built on this experience to found Keller Investment Properties (KIP) and create an expansive and diverse multifamily investment portfolio which spans the western states.

Scott has found his success in the integrity of his process. He approaches each asset with the individuality it deserves in tailoring the capital improvements, staffing, and marketing strategies to the unique markets and demographics of every apartment complex he purchases. He has built a corporate team with a breadth and depth of experience in management and finance that implements his high-level vision alongside the talented site teams at each property. His approach of treating his team as family carries forward to the residents of all Keller Investment Properties who are treated with respect and appreciation.

Prior to creating KIP, Scott traveled extensively throughout the United States as a consultant to the transportation industry, specifically pertaining to long haul class eight vehicles. His business proficiency resulted in significantly reducing annual operational expenses and taxes, creating millions in profit growth for his clients.

In the late 70’s and early 80’s Scott worked for Ryder Systems and was advanced to District Rental Manager for commercial and rental installations in five states. In 1982 he was one of eight employees to be inducted into Rental Masters – the highest honor within the Ryder organization. This achievement is based on exceptional performance across all business functions.

Earlier in life, Scott joined Western River Expeditions to lead professional white-water guided tours down all major western rivers including the Colorado through the Grand Canyon. These years deepened his love for nature and outdoor recreation.

In addition to institutional-sized apartment communities, Scott's personal investment portfolio has included retail centers, hospitality, raw land, and hotel properties, and currently includes student housing, senior housing, majority ownership in the Bronze Buffalo Sporting Club at Teton Springs, Cove River Ranch fish hatchery, Keller Luxury Homes, and private equity investments. Scott adds his influential style to each venture he undertakes.

The KIP portfolio led by Scott’s business acumen, real estate savvy, and property management skills has achieved substantial and consistent annual returns through up and down markets. His reputation and strong history have led Scott to be sought out as a real estate consultant and guest lecturer for local universities and has afforded him many long-lasting relationships with banks and lending institutions.

served as chairman of the Utah American Diabetes Association where he was awarded the ADA Father of the Year, worked extensively with Operation Underground Railroad, served on multiple committees for Charity Vision, assisted in developing a self-sustaining egg farm in Mali, Africa which produces revenues to build schools, contributed to the Amar Foundation a British organization that aids in providing medical aid to worn-torn countries, sits on the National Advisory Board for the Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University, contributes to Second Chance 4 Youth, and supports the Sandy Hale Center Theatre, the Centerville Centerpoint Theater, and youth education programs. Scott is also heavily involved in many political campaigns actively chairing and supporting causes and candidates he feels will benefit our country.

Mr. Keller lives in Bountiful, Utah and is married to Karen Hale Keller. They have five children and fifteen grandchildren. He attended UNLV, Dixie College, and BYU-Idaho with studies in Business.
